How to install Televizo on Fire TV Cube

Installing Televizo on Fire TV Cube comes down to two parts: getting the app onto the device, then signing in with your IPTV details. The Fire TV Cube runs Fire OS with no IPTV players in its store, so you sideload the app with the free Downloader tool. Televizo is a clean, modern Android and Fire OS player that loads an Xtream Codes login or M3U URL without a steep learning curve.

This guide covers both steps for Fire TV Cube, using an OTTV subscription as the example. You'll sign in with an Xtream Codes login — a server URL, username and password.

Install method: Sideload with the Downloader app.

Step 1: get Televizo onto your Fire TV Cube

  1. 1

    Allow app installs

On your Fire TV Cube, open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options and turn on "Install unknown apps" (or "Apps from Unknown Sources") for the Downloader app.

  2. 2

    Install the Downloader app

From the Fire TV search, find the free Downloader app and install it. This is the tool you'll use to sideload Televizo.

  3. 3

    Download Televizo

Open Downloader and enter the official download URL for Televizo from the app's own website. Wait for the APK to finish downloading.

  4. 4

    Install and open

Choose Install, then Open when it finishes. You can delete the APK file afterwards to free up space.

Step 2: sign in with your subscription

  1. 5

    Choose an Xtream Codes login

In Televizo, choose to add a playlist or user and pick the "Xtream Codes" / "Login with Xtream Codes API" option.

  2. 6

    Enter your OTTV details

Type the server URL, username and password from your OTTV welcome email exactly as shown, then give the playlist a name you'll recognise.

  3. 7

    Let it load

Save and let Televizo download your channels, categories and TV guide. The first load can take a minute.

Don't have login details yet? An OTTV free trial gives you a working Xtream Codes and M3U login to test on your Fire TV Cube before you commit. See the Set up IPTV on Fire TV Cube guide or the Televizo full guide for more detail.

How Televizo connects

Frequently asked.

Is Televizo free on Fire TV Cube?
The Televizo app is free to install on Fire TV Cube. You still need an active IPTV subscription to sign in and watch — a few players also charge a one-time fee to unlock extras like recording.
Which login details do I need for Televizo?
Televizo signs in with an Xtream Codes login — a server URL, username and password. You can also load a full M3U URL if you prefer. OTTV sends both in your welcome email.
Will the TV guide work in Televizo on Fire TV Cube?
Yes — once your playlist loads, Televizo fills in the EPG for channels your subscription provides guide data for. A blank guide is usually the EPG source or a player setting rather than the Fire TV Cube itself.
