Televizo: a clean, modern Android IPTV player

Televizo is a modern IPTV player for Android and Fire OS that aims for a clean, straightforward experience. It loads an Xtream Codes login or an M3U URL, reads an EPG, and presents your channels in a tidy interface that works well on both a phone and a TV box. It sits between the bare-bones simplicity of Perfect Player and the deep customisation of OTT Navigator.

It is Android and Fire OS only — there is no iPhone, iPad or Apple TV build — so Apple users should look at GSE Smart IPTV. Where it stands out is the balance: enough polish to feel modern, without burying you in settings.

The verdict: A tidy, modern Android and Firestick player that is easy to live with. A good middle ground if IPTV Smarters feels too plain and OTT Navigator too busy.

What Televizo gets right

Televizo's appeal is a clean, current design that stays easy to navigate on both a phone and a TV remote. It loads an Xtream Codes login or an M3U URL, builds an EPG from an XMLTV source, and lets you organise favourites without a steep learning curve. For someone who finds IPTV Smarters a little plain but doesn't want OTT Navigator's wall of settings, it is a comfortable middle ground.

It also supports a Stalker portal alongside the usual login formats, so it can cover a portal subscription in a pinch, and it hands off to an external player when a stream needs a different decoder.

The trade-offs to know

Televizo is less feature-dense than OTT Navigator or XCIPTV — if you specifically want a deep catch-up archive or multi-view, those players go further. Its free tier also carries limits that the paid version removes, so plan to unlock it if you settle on it as your daily player.

And like the other Android-first players, it has no iPhone, iPad or Apple TV version. Apple households should use GSE Smart IPTV, and as always Televizo supplies no channels itself — you load your own OTTV subscription.

Setting up Televizo.

  1. 1

    Install Televizo

Install Televizo from the Play Store on Android and Android TV. On a Firestick, sideload it with the Downloader app, following our Firestick setup guide for the sideloading steps.

  2. 2

    Add your OTTV login

Open Televizo and add a playlist. For an Xtream Codes login, enter the OTTV server URL, username and password. For an M3U subscription, paste the full M3U URL instead, and name the playlist so you recognise it.

  3. 3

    Load the EPG (TV guide)

Add your provider's XMLTV/EPG URL in the EPG settings so channel names line up with their programme guide. Save and let the guide data load.

  4. 4

    Organise favourites and test

Start a channel to confirm smooth playback, then group your favourites and set an external player if a stream needs a different decoder. Your setup is saved for next time.

What it's good at

  • Clean, modern interface that works on both phones and TV boxes
  • Loads Xtream Codes, M3U and a Stalker portal
  • A comfortable middle ground between simple and feature-heavy players
  • External-player support for awkward streams

Where it falls short

  • Fewer advanced features than OTT Navigator or XCIPTV
  • Free version has limits that the paid version removes
  • Android and Fire OS only — no iPhone, iPad or Apple TV version

How Televizo connects

Runs on

Try Televizo with OTTV.

Televizo supplies no channels of its own — you load your own subscription into it. An OTTV free trial gives you an Xtream Codes login and M3U URL to drop straight in, so you can see how Televizo handles the stream before you commit.

Frequently asked.

Is Televizo available on iPhone or Apple TV?
No. Televizo is an Android, Android TV and Fire OS player only. On iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, GSE Smart IPTV is the go-to alternative and loads the same Xtream Codes or M3U login.
Is Televizo free?
There is a free version that is enough to load a playlist and test your subscription, plus a paid version that removes limits. The app never supplies channels — you load your own OTTV login into it.
Can I install Televizo on a Firestick?
Yes. Because the Firestick runs Fire OS, you sideload Televizo with the Downloader app, the same way you install IPTV Smarters. Our Firestick setup guide covers the sideloading steps.
Televizo or OTT Navigator — which should I use?
Televizo is the cleaner, simpler of the two and is easier to live with day to day. OTT Navigator goes further on features like a catch-up archive and multi-view. Both are Android and Firestick players that load the same Xtream Codes or M3U login.
