Install guide
How to install XCIPTV on Formuler
Installing XCIPTV on Formuler comes down to two parts: getting the app onto the device, then signing in with your IPTV details. Formuler boxes run Android, so you install from the store where available or sideload the APK. XCIPTV is an Android and Fire OS player with catch-up and multi-screen support built in.
This guide covers both steps for Formuler, using an OTTV subscription as the example. You'll sign in with an Xtream Codes login — a server URL, username and password.
Install method: Install from the store or sideload the APK.
Step 1: get XCIPTV onto your Formuler
- 1
Check the built-in store
On your Formuler, open the app store (Google Play on certified models) and search for XCIPTV.
- 2
Sideload if it isn't listed
If XCIPTV isn't in the store, install a file manager or the Downloader app, enter the official APK URL for XCIPTV, and install it that way.
- 3
Open XCIPTV
Launch XCIPTV from your apps list once it's installed.
Step 2: sign in with your subscription
- 4
Choose an Xtream Codes login
In XCIPTV, choose to add a playlist or user and pick the "Xtream Codes" / "Login with Xtream Codes API" option.
- 5
Enter your OTTV details
Type the server URL, username and password from your OTTV welcome email exactly as shown, then give the playlist a name you'll recognise.
- 6
Let it load
Save and let XCIPTV download your channels, categories and TV guide. The first load can take a minute.
Don't have login details yet? An OTTV free trial gives you a working Xtream Codes and M3U login to test on your Formuler before you commit. See the Set up IPTV on Formuler guide or the XCIPTV full guide for more detail.

Frequently asked.
- Is XCIPTV free on Formuler?
- The XCIPTV app is free to install on Formuler. You still need an active IPTV subscription to sign in and watch — a few players also charge a one-time fee to unlock extras like recording.
- Which login details do I need for XCIPTV?
- XCIPTV signs in with an Xtream Codes login — a server URL, username and password. You can also load a full M3U URL if you prefer. OTTV sends both in your welcome email.
- Will the TV guide work in XCIPTV on Formuler?
- Yes — once your playlist loads, XCIPTV fills in the EPG for channels your subscription provides guide data for. A blank guide is usually the EPG source or a player setting rather than the Formuler itself.
