Install guide
How to install TiviMate on BuzzTV
Installing TiviMate on BuzzTV comes down to two parts: getting the app onto the device, then signing in with your IPTV details. BuzzTV boxes run Android; install from the store if listed, otherwise sideload the APK. TiviMate is built around a TV remote and has the strongest EPG, though its recording and multi-playlist extras need a one-time Premium unlock.
This guide covers both steps for BuzzTV, using an OTTV subscription as the example. You'll sign in with an Xtream Codes login — a server URL, username and password.
Install method: Install from the store or sideload the APK.
Step 1: get TiviMate onto your BuzzTV
- 1
Check the built-in store
On your BuzzTV, open the app store (Google Play on certified models) and search for TiviMate.
- 2
Sideload if it isn't listed
If TiviMate isn't in the store, install a file manager or the Downloader app, enter the official APK URL for TiviMate, and install it that way.
- 3
Open TiviMate
Launch TiviMate from your apps list once it's installed.
Step 2: sign in with your subscription
- 4
Choose an Xtream Codes login
In TiviMate, choose to add a playlist or user and pick the "Xtream Codes" / "Login with Xtream Codes API" option.
- 5
Enter your OTTV details
Type the server URL, username and password from your OTTV welcome email exactly as shown, then give the playlist a name you'll recognise.
- 6
Let it load
Save and let TiviMate download your channels, categories and TV guide. The first load can take a minute.
Don't have login details yet? An OTTV free trial gives you a working Xtream Codes and M3U login to test on your BuzzTV before you commit. See the Set up IPTV on BuzzTV guide or the TiviMate full guide for more detail.

Frequently asked.
- Is TiviMate free on BuzzTV?
- The TiviMate app is free to install on BuzzTV. You still need an active IPTV subscription to sign in and watch — a few players also charge a one-time fee to unlock extras like recording.
- Which login details do I need for TiviMate?
- TiviMate signs in with an Xtream Codes login — a server URL, username and password. You can also load a full M3U URL if you prefer. OTTV sends both in your welcome email.
- Will the TV guide work in TiviMate on BuzzTV?
- Yes — once your playlist loads, TiviMate fills in the EPG for channels your subscription provides guide data for. A blank guide is usually the EPG source or a player setting rather than the BuzzTV itself.
